Dr. Dylan J.T. Benke was born and raisedlocally in San Diego, CA. He graduated with honors from San Diego Christianearning a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, while also attending National Air Collegestudying aeronautics and attaining his private pilot’s license. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he devoted time toworking with teams constructing renewable energy power plants in California,Arizona, and Nevada. Through local and national volunteer work, Dr. Benkediscovered his passion for medicine. Recognizing a variety of healthcarespecialties, Dr. Benke found dentistry to be a truly rewarding and fulfillingfield of medicine that provided the opportunity to deliver meaningful andcompassionate care to his patients.
While attending the University of Nevada’s School of Dental Medicine and Lee Business School, Dr. Benke becameone of only four in his graduating class to successfully complete a dualMBA/DMD program. His education has complimented his commitment to encompassingevidence based clinical recommendations for conservative, long lasting resultsfor his patients. Dr. Benke continues to advanced his skills through continuingeducation, maintaining a focus in dental cosmetics and implantology and iscurrently working toward Associate Fellow status with the American Academy ofImplant Dentistry.
Dr. Benke has also been accepted into a rigorous two year residency program through the American Academy ofCosmetic Dentistry, dedicating rotations through various specialty trainingproviding the best care to patients at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla,California. He is dedicated to fully understanding all facets of the aestheticdriven restorative treatment planning and comprehensive quality care for hispatients. Dr. Benke is a devoted life-long learner in his field of medicine,and has been a pinnacle to the community for quality dental care for many yearsin San Diego, CA. He believes in a conservative plan, with attention to detail,and sincere regard to whole body health well-being for the patients he treats.
Dr. Benke has worked with many charitable dental organizations aiding underserved populationsincluding Veteran’s, Homeless, Give Kids a Smile, Remote Area Medical - USA and abroad. He has been a provider through UCSD’s pre-dental society, and worked in various countries around the worldoffering hands-on education and training in implantology, and cosmeticdentistry. Having been brought up in San Diego, CA - Dr. Benke enjoys doing themany active sports we San Deigans enjoy, such as surfing, snowboarding, and allthings outdoors. He also loves traveling with his beautiful wife Shannen, andtheir Queensland Heeler Bailey doing all their active adventures.
